So the Canadian Spanish class took a walk through Valladolid. I thought I would give you guys a peek, so here you are.

Here we have the Military Academy. The doors open during the day, and one or two men in uniform stand at the door. This is really close to my school, Lordes. It´s a private school, everyone studies like crazy.

This is a picture of the recycling bins that are all over the city. Chami, I posted this for you. They are huge. Here they also have special separated garbage cans for bottles, trash, and residue (for things that can be put into the soil, ex: banana peels.). The streets are really clean here, and so is the school.

This is a picture of the class infront of the market. It is a fruit and vegetable market, similar to the farmers market only these people are there every day. The fruit from here is GOOD!! Real, fresh and tastey.
Here is a lovely picture of us with the bomberos (firemen) of Valladolid. They were really nice.

They told use about their calender and chatted it up with our teacher.
I would just like to point out that in this picture we were all in danger of getting hit by a car because we were on the road. It was pretty scare. People are seriously intence drivers here and they mean business when you stand on the road.

This is part of the University or Law. Marina´s brother studies here. It is a really old looking building, but it is cool. There is a legend of the lions, there are these lions just outside the building, that if you count them before you graduate, then you won´t graduate. I can´t remember how many there are, I didn´t count them. The teacher tricked Zara into counting them. It was funny, Zara was mad.
Origionally, Valladolid was the capital of Spain. When the King died and a new one came into

power (sorry i don´t remember which ones) he moved the capital to Madrid. So this was the castle being built for that king who had made Valladolid the capital. It is unfinished because the capital was moved and the new King took the arcitect with him. Spain is full of old arcitecture like this. There are the most beautiful cathedrals, as well.

This is the theater. Nothing to fancy to say about it. I have not seen the inside. I would like to, but I probably won´t. Taking this picture, I am stading next to a kiosc. They are like mini-max´s.
This is a picture of us at a Chocolateria. This would be the place to come and get Chocolate con Churros.

It is basically melted chocolate with fried dough. So good!! You dip the churros in the chocolate...well, we finished all our churros so we took Kelsey´s strawberries and dipped those into the chocolate. After you are done dipping, you drink the chocolate. It is called Spanish drinking chocolate for a reason I guess.
That was basically the day. We went to the tourist center and walked alot of streets. Thanks for reading, and thanks for the comments. By the way, I would like to give a shout out to my Aunty Libby...Happy Birthday, April 3rd, I do believe.
Thanks everyone,
Choa,
Aymie!!
